Agents of Change for the 20th Century--DUE MAY 3

Agents of Change for the 20th Century

Directions: For the time period 1900-present, please choose ONE individual (nine total) from each of the following regions:
                Latin America
                East Asia
                South Asia
                South East Asia
                Middle East
                West/East Africa
                South Africa
                Russia

For each individual describe how the person can be viewed as an agent of change--good or bad.  Be sure to include the following:

What caused the change to happen?  What were the circumstances that may have caused the change?
What were the changes?  Think social, political, economic.
How were the changes received by the people? (remember to address both sides in the situation and also the world response)  
Why should this person be called an agent of change?
